Our Core Values
The heartbeat of Fathimamatha Church.
1. Radical Presence (Communion)
In a distracted age, the greatest gift we can give is our presence. Psychologically, to be seen is to be healed. We value the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, and we mirror that by being truly present to one another.
'The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen.' — Rachel Naomi Remen2. The Beauty of Sacred Stillness (Liturgy)
We believe the human soul needs a 'Sabbath'—a neurological and spiritual break from the noise of the world. Through our Latin Catholic traditions and the rhythm of the Mass, we create a space where the Inner Voice can finally be heard. We recognize silence as the language of the Almighty.
3. Unconditional Belonging (Community)
No person is an island. We acknowledge the deep-seated human need for a 'tribe.' At Fathimamatha, belonging precedes believing. We welcome the seeker, the doubter, and the devout alike, recognizing every soul as a unique reflection of the Omnipresent.
'If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.' — Mother Teresa4. Intentional Transformation (Discipleship)
Spirituality is a journey of Metanoia—the changing of the mind. We don't just aim to be religious; we seek to be transformed. We value the constant growth of the heart, using the wisdom of the Saints and the Gospel to evolve into the best versions of ourselves.
