Message from the vicar
Dear Parishioners and Friends in Christ,
It fills my heart with joy to welcome you to the online home of Fathima Matha Roman Catholic Latin Church, Mapranam. Our parish is a sacred space where faith is lived, hope is renewed, and the love and peace of Christ are shared among all through the grace of God. As your parish priest, my prayer is that this church remains a place where every soul feels the tender embrace of God’s presence through the Holy Eucharist, the sacraments, and the fellowship we cherish as one family in Christ.
In a world often burdened by challenges and uncertainty, may we continue to walk together in faith and compassion, trusting always in God’s providence and may our hearts rest in the peace that only Christ can give:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27
May our Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Fathima, protect us under her mantle of love and guide us ever closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. Together, let us build a parish rooted in faith, strengthened by hope, and shining with the love of God.
With grace-filled prayers and blessings,
Rev. Fr. Neil Chadayammuri,
Parish Priest

Our Trustees: Hands of Enduring Faith and Service
The Trustees of Fatima Matha Church, Mapranam, are called not to a position of prestige, but to a profound ministry of stewardship. Their role is a sacred trust, a commitment to sacrificial service that reflects Christ’s humility, standing as faithful keepers of our shared spiritual home.
Working diligently alongside the Parish Priest, their core responsibilities extend across every vital artery of parish life: they ensure financial integrity and transparent accounting; they oversee the prudent maintenance and upkeep of our holy facilities; and they are instrumental in planning and executing major pastoral and charitable initiatives, ensuring that every resource serves the mission of the Gospel.
This is a commitment that demands more than mere attendance—it requires the donation of private time, professional expertise, and personal talent. They navigate complex logistical and legal matters, always placing the needs of the community and the continuity of the Church above personal convenience or gain. Their labor is often unseen, yet it is the cornerstone of stability, transforming their mandate into a living example of selfless service for the entire parish to follow.
